PIECE Studio designed a poster to pay homage to the East Baltimore Community Leaders. The poster was printed by the world-renowned Globe Posters.
Sadly, Globe posters are no longer in operation, but their legacy lives on at GLOBEATMICA is promoting the unsung heroes of East Baltimore.
These inspirational people give everything they have to help and support the people who live in East Baltimore. PIECE Studio wanted to show that we understood the work they did and represented them as (unsung) HEROES. Through the combination of subtle irony and the common language of the Globe Poster aesthetic, we celebrated these wonderful individuals to the communities of East Baltimore.
The Heroes are:
- Leon Purnell, Director of the Men and Family Center
- Thelma Bond, East Baltimore Community Leader
- Walker Gladden, East Baltimore Community Leader
- Glenn Ross, East Baltimore Community Leader
PIECE Studio placed posters throughout the East Baltimore community early in the morning, and the posters contained the contact info on how to reach each of the heroes.
