Mind.ed Maps 2009-2020
About this project
PIECE Studio uses mind.ed maps as a facilitation tool in all projects and workshops. The mind.ed maps function in three important ways.
- Record events, discussions and conversations as the project and workshops evolve. The PIECE Studio facilitator listens and records.
- They are used to prompt conversations, create discussion topics and to ask participants to consider different project/workshop idea directions. The PIECE Studio facilitator uses specific information recorded on the mind.ed map as a prompt to engage individuals and group participants.
- The mind.ed maps record ideas and topics that relate to the project/workshop. The PIECE Studio facilitator uses these ideas and topics to generate deeper discussions that could benefit the project/workshop.
Every mind.ed map is unique to the project and workshop. Many mind.ed maps are given to the community at the conclusion of the project/workshop. Several mind.ed maps have been purchased by individuals and/or organizations, and a few are held in museums. The funds gathered from the sold mind.ed maps are used to fund other community projects.
