Name Tag for the AIGA SHIFT Design Educator Summit 2020

PIECE Studio has been invited to participate in the AIGA Design Educators 2020 SHIFT Symposium that will take part in August 3-7. Bernard J Canniffe will take part in a panel discussion on Design Research and Tenure and Promotion in the Age of Social Distancing.   The panel will be moderated by Liese Zahabi  

This Independence Day, 70 artists are having messages of solidarity and defiance typed in the sky to highlight the plight of immigrants held in detention centers.   NY Times Link  

The project started a year ago when the artists Cassils and rafa esparza teamed up with a goal of forming a coalition of artists and activists determined to address the ills of mass detention. NY Times Link
