PIECE Studio has created many posters for events and showcase important topics and issues. Sometimes these posters are self-initiated where PIECE Studio is the actual client and on other occasions PIECE Studio is commission to create posters that highlight a topic and/or issue


Charles City 2011

PIECE Studio was contacted by Charles City, Iowa Chamber of Commerce to have discussions on how we could use our design skills to develop projects and initiatives that would produce innovative design and business strategies that could be adopted by the city.


Cameron Sinclair 2007

PIECE Studio developed the promotional material, the discussion for Cameron Sinclair‘s presentation in Baltimore, Maryland.PIECE Studio also arranged a community tour of East Baltimore and suggested attendees for a round-table event. Boy girl fruit flower 2006

PIECE Studio collaborated with international writer and playwright Anthony Bunco to design the cover for his BOY, Girl, Fruit, Flower book.


Blue Genes: Sickle Cell Disease Project 2007

PIECE Studio was asked by The William E. Proudford Sickle Cell Fund, Inc. to develop a project that highlighted important information about Sickle Cell Disease and where to get tested.   PIECE Studio collaborated with designer Alissa Jones on this project  


Angela Davis 2009

PIECE Studio produced the promotional poster for The Maryland Institute College of Art’s 2009 Constitution Day Keynote speaker. Angela Davis was the keynote speaker and this was the second project that PIECE Studio had the opportunity to work with Angela Davis and the Black Panther Party.


A Place For Change: Martha’s Place Publication 2007

PIECE Studio was commissioned to produce a project for Martha’s Place, a women’s drug and rehab center in West Baltimore. Old Arizona: Sappi Ideas That Matter Award 2011

PIECE Studio was awarded a SAPPI IDEAS THAT MATTER award to assist OLD ARIZONA. Old Arizona provides services to underserved/youth-at-risk youths and every year the produce a youth musical that has underserved/youth-at-risk youths performing. These events are used as a funding opportunity as well as highlighting what Minneapolis youths are facing.

Paper Clip Project 2007

PIECE Studio developed an international social justice project where people were asked to submit projects they had been working on. The projects had to be community related, be positive and work with the community. The paperclip project was a metaphor for people to attach themselves to a solution.
